Eddie chairs the national legal committee of Americans United for Separation of Church and State; chairs the First Amendment Task Force for the Council for Secular Humanism; a lifetime member of American Atheists; and a strong supporter of Internet Infidels, Inc. Eddie has debated world famous Christian philosophers on the question of God’s existence, such as Peter van Inwagen (1993), Greg Bahnsen (1993), William Lane Craig (1999), and Richard Swinburne (2003).
