Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating content on this platform (“Platform”), operated by Internet Infidels, Inc, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, you (“Blogger,” “you,” or “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform to publish content.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create and publish content on the Platform. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Ensuring all information provided to us is accurate and current

4. Content Standards and Prohibited Content

4.1 General Standards

All content published on the Platform must:

  • Be original or properly attributed with appropriate permissions
  • Be factually accurate to the best of your knowledge
  • Align with the educational, charitable, or mission-driven purpose of our 501(c)(3) organization
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

4.2 Prohibited Content

You may not publish content that:

Political Activity:

  • Endorses, opposes, or advocates for any political candidate or party
  • Attempts to influence legislation or political campaigns
  • Constitutes political lobbying or partisan political activity that would jeopardize our 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status

Hate and Discrimination:

  • Promotes hatred, discrimination, or violence against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or any other protected characteristic
  • Contains slurs, epithets, or derogatory language targeting protected groups
  • Advocates for or glorifies hate groups or their ideologies

Violence and Harm:

  • Threatens, incites, or glorifies violence against any person or group
  • Provides instructions for creating weapons or carrying out violent acts
  • Promotes self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders
  • Depicts or describes gratuitous violence or gore

Harassment and Bullying:

  • Harasses, bullies, intimidates, or targets specific individuals
  • Constitutes stalking or unwanted contact
  • Shares private information about others without consent (doxxing)

Illegal Activity:

  • Promotes or facilitates illegal activities
  • Infringes on intellectual property rights or copyrights
  • Contains malware, viruses, or malicious code
  • Facilitates fraud, scams, or deceptive practices

Sexual Content:

  • Contains pornographic or sexually explicit material
  • Sexualizes minors in any way
  • Promotes non-consensual sexual acts

Misinformation:

  • Deliberately spreads false information that could cause harm
  • Misrepresents scientific or medical facts in ways that endanger public health
  • Impersonates others or misrepresents your identity or affiliations

Spam and Manipulation:

  • Constitutes spam or unsolicited commercial content
  • Uses misleading titles, tags, or descriptions
  • Artificially inflates engagement metrics

5. Content Ownership and License

5.1 Your Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to the content you create and publish on the Platform.

5.2 License to Platform

By publishing content, you grant Internet Infidels, Inc a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, display, and perform your content in connection with operating and promoting the Platform and our nonprofit mission. This license continues even if you stop using the Platform, but only for content you published while these Terms were in effect.

5.3 Responsibility

You represent and warrant that:

  • You own or have the necessary rights to publish your content
  • Your content does not infringe on any third-party rights
  • You have obtained all necessary permissions for any third-party materials included in your content

6. Content Moderation and Removal

6.1 Our Rights

We reserve the right, but have no obligation, to:

  • Monitor, review, and moderate content published on the Platform
  • Remove or refuse to publish any content that violates these Terms
  • Suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate these Terms
  • Edit content for formatting or technical reasons with your permission

6.2 No Liability

We are not responsible for content published by Bloggers and do not endorse any opinions expressed by Bloggers. The views expressed in blog posts are those of the individual Bloggers and do not necessarily reflect the views of Internet Infidels, Inc.

6.3 Removal Process

If we determine that content violates these Terms, we may:

  • Request that you modify or remove the content
  • Remove the content without notice if it poses immediate harm or legal risk
  • Suspend your account pending investigation
  • Permanently terminate your account for serious or repeated violations

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content on the Platform infringes your copyright, please contact us via our contact page with:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work
  • Identification of the infringing material
  • Your contact information
  • A statement of good faith belief that use is not authorized
  • A statement that your notice is accurate and you are authorized to act

8. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

9. Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Internet Infidels, Inc SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Internet Infidels, Inc, its directors, officers, employees, and volunteers from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising from:

  • Your content
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any rights of another party

12. Termination

12.1 By You

You may stop using the Platform at any time. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us via our contact page.

12.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause or notice, including for violation of these Terms or to protect our 501(c)(3) status.

12.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the Platform ceases immediately
  • We may delete your account and content, though we retain the right to keep content as required by law or our license terms
  • Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by:

  • Posting the updated Terms on the Platform with a new “Effective Date”
  • Sending notice to the email address associated with your account

Your continued use of the Platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nevada, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Clark County, Nevada, USA.

15. Miscellaneous

15.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Internet Infidels, Inc regarding use of the Platform.

15.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.

15.3 No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision.

15.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
